Cheque handover on the pitch in Langenbieber: TSV players in green shirts and the Surgical Mission Saarland team hold the signed cheque

Football for the Philippines

With its charity series “Auswärtsspiel”, TSV Langenbieber raised €1,470.70 for our 2027 mission in Cagayan de Oro on Mindanao. Hessian broadcaster hr reported on it.

Football for a good cause: TSV Langenbieber 1922 e.V. in the Rhön ran a charity series called “Auswärtsspiel – Fußball verbindet. Hilfe bewegt.” (“Away game – football connects, help moves”) across several home matches, raising donations for our 2027 mission in Cagayan de Oro on Mindanao. The idea was entirely the club’s own.

It ended on 11 October 2026 with a charity and family day at the club's ground in Hofbieber-Langenbieber: a youth match between JSG Bieberstein-Giebelrain and SG Barockstadt Fulda-Lehnerz, activity stations around the pitch, medical and rescue demonstrations, and the first team's home game in the afternoon. Members of our team were there and talked about the work in the Philippines.

The Eintracht Frankfurt fan club EFC Dom-Adler Fulda-West funded five specially designed jerseys for the campaign.

Hessian broadcaster hr covered the day in its evening hessenschau programme. The report is shown below and is available in the ARD Mediathek.

The campaign raised €1,470.70. Thank you to TSV Langenbieber, to EFC Dom-Adler and to everyone who played, organised and donated. The money goes towards our 2027 mission in Cagayan de Oro on Mindanao.
